Florida is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Daytona Beach wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Daytona Beach animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
Volusia County Animal Control
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Volusia County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Daytona Beach Wildlife Tip:
Is There A Shot Of Stopping Rodents Getting In House - If rodents were human they would be circus acts. They can get in some really small holes and make their way into your home. You may not realize it, but depending on the type of rodent you could be looking at a hole as small as some coins. That is right; most Eastern Gray Rodents will only need a space the size of a coin in order to get into your house. The grey rodent is a bit larger, but that does not mean that it needs a much larger hole to get into your home.
The smallness of the hole sizes makes stopping rodents getting in house a bit of a challenge. You will need to go around your house a few times and from different angles to make sure that you are not missing anything. You will more than likely need to use a ladder so use caution when you do. As you find any holes you should plug them even if they are smaller than the coin because a hole can be made bigger. If you can use metal to plug the hole, then that is even better.
Daytona Beach, FL Animal Control News Clip:
Wildlife - Exotic snakes are becoming a problem in Florida
Snow, the federal wildlife biologist who tracks snakes in the Everglades, has removed 145 of the pythons from the national park and had sightings of 78 more in the past three years. Florida has an abundance of wildlife, and Daytona Beach is no exception.
He plans to implant five or six snakes with transmitters in December to track their movements and learn of their habits. If there was any doubt the pythons could survive the sometime-chilly Central Florida winters, it evaporated in 1991. Although several species of wildlife roam Daytona Beach, only a few, such as raccoons and squirrels, are considered pest wildlife.
One Burmese python -- the Godzilla of the species -- took up residence in Seminole County in 1988. For three years, a 15-foot, 8-inch python that weighed 200 pounds terrified the residents of the Ranchlands community, escaping all attempts to be captured. Small mammals began disappearing. Animal control experts found its burrows and track, but never saw the snake. Florida has many reptiles, and it's important to be able to identify Daytona Beach snake species and mammals.
Then three Daytona law officer officers spotted the python and shot the giant five times as it lunged towered them. The snakes can turn up almost anywhere."We were called in to one of the tourist hotels on International Drive," this guy said. "Somebody had checked out and left a 5-foot python in the refrigerator," he said. Remember to treat the wild animals of Daytona Beach, Florida, with respect and care.
Pest Insects - Bees kill Florida dog
Local bee remover and biologist Bob The insect exterminator man agrees that it sounds likely that J.R.'s death was a result of the Africanized honey bee. The Volusia County Pest Control board could not be reached for comment.
The insect exterminator man headed out to The Florida termite control lady's house Monday afternoon to take a sample bee and send it to Texas for genetic testing. This will determine if the bees are, in fact, the Africanized honey bees. Most local owners of pest control companies in Daytona Beach, Florida weren't sure what to make of all this.
"We are starting to get them in the area ... some in Daytona Beach and in Volusia County," The insect exterminator man said. "It's just a matter of time before they are here, if they are not already. I did encounter, in South Venice, some very aggressive bees recently." Daytona Beach pest control is an important part of the local economy, but only a few Florida companies deal with wild animals.
This is not the first time that Florida pets have been killed by an angry swarm of bees. In early September, a swarm of Africanized honey bees attacked and killed two Miami Gardens dogs. Several residents also were injured, but they narrowly escaped by ducking into a nearby house. There are many types of insects and animals in Daytona Beach, and other Florida cities, but not all of them are pests after all.
