Minnesota is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Brainerd Area wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Brainerd Area animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Crow Wing County Animal Control for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Crow Wing County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Brainerd Area Wildlife Tip:
How to remove a skunk from the porch - Sometimes skunks find their way into places where we least expect them. A porch is often reserved for pets, and people like to leave food out thinking no other animals will come in and bother it. If you have a pet door or an open window to let in your cats that prowl at night, that area can also let in a skunk. Sometimes a skunk will enter the porch and then not know how to get back out. This is when the homeowner wakes up and finds the critter wandering around the porch. Usually, the only thing you can do is to sneak onto the porch and open up the door. The skunk won't spray you if you can quietly move onto the landing or if you can get out of another door to open the porch from the outside. Remember: The skunk is afraid of you. Move slowly and do your best not to make any loud sounds. Once the door on the porch is open, give the skunk some time to find its way out. Sometimes the animal is too frightened to move and might be hiding in a corner or under some furniture.

Panel approves controlled reptile critter catching plan

BRAINERD, MILLE LACS, AND LITTLE FALLS -- Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls's selectmen have approved this controlled reptile catch at Hemlock Hills open space in the fall. The catch will be overseen by the Reptile Management Implementation Committee and this pest control expert reporting directly to the committee. The pest control expert will directly oversee the 15 critter trappers that the committee will screen and approve to take part in the catch. "We are not engaged in sport," stated Raccoon Man James, head boss of the committee. "We are engaged in reduction of the reptile large group." The catch will take place on seven day perioddays, when school should be in session, during critter trap critter catching season from Nov. 15 through Dec. 19. No cage trap critter catching will be conducted. Only muzzle loaders and animal removal traps will be allowed. Critter trappers will capture down from stands in maple trees. This issue should be an important matter in Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls wildlife removal and Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls exterminator matters.

Raccoon Man James stated it should be unlikely that the pest operator will go before the Conservation Commission and selectmen this year for approval for cage trap critter catching on any town-owned open space. this cage trap catch program should be now before the commissioner of the Agency of Environmental Protection to allow cage trap critter catching on the state-owned property of Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls Pond. And Raccoon Man James does not want confusion between this state approved open critter catching season on that hectareage and with town approved controlled critter catching at Hemlock Hills." It should be important that we show that this controlled catch can be done responsibly and safely," Raccoon Man James told the selectmen Wednesday night. "We want no confusion." External and internal posting that the catch should be occurring will be up around and in the 400-hectare Hemlock Hills parcel. Notice will be sent to abutting property-owners. Every precaution will be taken to warn residents that critter trappers can be on the property, Raccoon Man James stated. The Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls animal control had no additional statements to make on the topic.

Approved critter trappers will wear blaze orange vests and have picture ID that will be worn on arm bands. Any unauthorized critter trappers that are found entering the Hemlock Hills property during the controlled catch season will be prosecuted for poaching. The controlled catch was approved by four of the five selectmen, with Selectman Pest Professional Philip voting against approval. "I am voting against the controlled catch because I am opposed to critter catching in general," Pest Professional Philip told Raccoon Man James. "But I want you to know I appreciate all the effort you have taken to make the catch as safe as possible." Brainerd, Mille Lacs, and Little Falls pest control companies that we contacted felt that this issue should be an important matter.
