Texas is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Denison wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Denison animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Denison Wildlife Tip:
What diseases do skunks carry?

Skunks must not be made pets, because their droppings alone can bring lots of diseases. In this article, you will learn some of the diseases that they carry. Be careful in handling the feces of the skunk, because it may lead to a serious health condition. Be sure you have the proper gear while you are cleaning up.

- Internal parasites

Skunks are known to carry internal parasites such as tapeworms & roundworms to name some. These can be carried to humans and to other animals as well through their droppings. The works live in the lay eggs in the intestine of the skunk, it will be carried to the feces. The animals such as the pets, birds and others that will come in close contact with the droppings may also ingest the eggs while they are licking their coats.

A famous illustration of a parasite that affects the skunks is the intestinal roundworm. It will be transmitted to domesticated pets such as cats & dogs and to humans as well. it will travel through the brain, eyes, liver and other body parts and it will bring so much damage to the organs.

The skunk may also be able to transmit dangerous viruses that may bring canine distemper. It will affect the dogs and other animals such as the coyotes, wolves and others.
