Washington is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Skagit County wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Skagit County animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Skagit County Wildlife Tip:
Things to Know About Cuban Tree Frogs in Florida

Studies reveal that there are 30 different species of frogs that can be found in Florida. Note that out of 8 unique species of the arboreal tree frogs four are present in the Citrus County. There is one alien invader that keep on eating 5 different species of native frogs along with beneficial garden snakes and small lizards. Note that all variants of tree frogs can be identified from their sticky and enlarged toepads. Experts say that the Cuban tree frogs that are also known as Osteopilus Septentrional were actually accidentally introduced to the state; they reached here with packing materials that were shipped in the 1920s. Right from that time, these large and nonsense tree frogs have become the most bothering alien pests in Florida. Most of these creatures are seen in the Subtropical South Florida.

The Cuban tree frogs are originally found in Cuba, Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas. Their tadpoles are often observed to be fighting with native frogs to get food and space. From past few years, their living spots are being affected by huge human development, and as a result, they are losing their habitats. Experts reveal that these frogs can grow up to a maximum length of five inches and they can have different body color ranging from white to green, gray and brown. These creatures are also capable enough to change colors. You can find them with skin color that is either splotched, streaked or solid. Skin of Cuban tree frogs keeps on releasing slime that helps to maintain the desired level of moisture on their body and also work as a deterrent for their predators. This slime is also capable enough to irritate human tissues. In case if you are planning to capture frogs, it is good to wear thick gloves before catching them so that the slime cannot come into contact with your skin. Once you capture the creature, put it into a plastic bag and release at a far place.

As Cuban frogs are now more attracted towards human habitats, it is important to find some solution to get rid of them as soon as possible. But before that, you must know where they usually hide on the property. These creatures are always in search of some warmth and to achieve that they often target switched and utility boxes as a common hiding place. Reports reveal that large Cuban frogs can also cause some serious issues related to a power outage in the premises. Generally, the smaller tree frogs do not create utility related troubles; they prefer to hunt in the night hours and are often attracted towards insects and bugs. On the other side, the Cuban tree frogs are more attracted towards decorative ponds, birdhouses, birdbaths, and foliage of various potted plants. They often leave messy droppings and stains on walls. The big tree frogs can also find their way to home through vents and drains. Hence, it is important to seal all such areas to ensure complete protection.
