Bats are one of the creatures that many people fear and shy away from, with good reason. Bats are somewhat creepy animals, and no one really wants them for a pet. Bats are from different species just like other animals. Most of them really favor dark places to hang out in. Many bats favor the attics in some houses and some of them love to hang out in forests. Anywhere there is a dark place, one may find a bat or two or several.

Because bats love to hang around, especially when sleeping, some bags will hang upside down in trees higher up when they sleep. There are several reasons why we can find bats hanging upside down and one of them is that it makes it much easier when they decide to take off and fly once nightfall has come and it is time to find some food. The claws on the bat’s feet allow it to continue to hang on the limb even when the bat has relaxed its body and has fallen asleep. If a bat dies while hanging upside down, it will continue to stay that way until something else knocks it loose from the limb of the tree.

When bats hang out in trees it is also a protection mechanism. Bats hang in trees while sleeping and thus escape most predatory animals that are looking for food during the day. Also, no other animal species has the ability to hang upside down, so there is not a lot of competition for the various tree limbs.

If you have a tree that has some bats hanging around in it, you will most likely want to discourage those bats from staying on your premises. Our company can remove those bats for you without harming the bats or harming you and your family.
