So, you are out in your yard one day when you notice a rather large mound of dirt right in the middle of your grass. As you approach it, you realize that you have a mole that has dug a hole in your yard. As you quickly scan around the yard you realize that this is not his only entryway into his tunnel system. Three giant holes have been dug in your yard and you cannot imagine how much damage that this little pesky rodent has done to your soil. What can you do to resolve this?

This is a question that hundreds of thousands of homeowners have to ask themselves each year. Moles are burrowing kinds of animals that dig tunnels and can absolutely destroy your yard in a matter of days. They are so proficient at what they do that it can be quite difficult to get rid of them. Even by getting rid of one hole you still have to face the fact that there can be others that are present. In addition, just because you close it hole doesn't mean it can't dig another one. There has to be a better solution!

Fortunately, there is. Amazingly enough a household product that you may not think very much about is the solution to your problem. So, here is how to get rid of ground moles with Dawn dish soap.

Where you want to start is by mixing about 4 ounces of castor oil with a teaspoon of the dishwashing liquid. Put this into a common garden spray bottle, and add water until you have completely filled the bottle. It should be warm or hot water to make sure that the mixture makes as well, and you should shake vigorously after you have combined the blend.

Now, all you need to do is go around your yard coding it with this mixture of the oil and dish show. You don't need to be excessive about it but you should make sure that you have liberally used it across the yard. This will help to make sure that it stays on your grass or other plants for quite some time.

Your next step is to go and fill all the visible holes that you have seen where the moles could be gaining access and pat down securely. Repeat this process every week and continue to fill any new holes that you may notice. Eventually you are going to see complete success.

The best part about this particular method is that it does not endanger your vegetation at all. Neither the castor oil or the dish show poses any danger to your lawn, trees, or other plants on your land. They simply dissolve into the soil which becomes an irritant to the mole who will eventually dig his way off of your property to get away from it. This is a great solution for any person facing an issue with the mole that will also keeps your pets and your family safe from chemicals.
