Arizona is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Lake Havasu City wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Lake Havasu City animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Mohave County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. Lake Havasu City Wildlife Tip:
What Can I Do To Get Rid Of Squirrels In My Loft - If squirrels are going to nest anywhere in your house, it will either be in your attic or loft, or in your walls- especially if you have insulation in your walls. Squirrels may be adorable when you're walking in the woods and you can watch them gathering and burying nuts around the trees, but if they get into your home they can be very smelly and destructive. You can hire a professional to come and rid your home of the problem, as they will have the necessary skills and expertise to do the job thoroughly and efficiently.

It is exceptionally important that if you have an infestation, you do a very thorough job of ensuring that all traces of the squirrels have gone. This includes checking your wall insulation - if squirrels have nested there, there may be droppings and urine in the wall that will need to be cleaned up. This is very difficult to get rid of and it may be that you need to replace all of your insulation. If you leave any trace of squirrels in your house, other squirrels will be attracted to it and will come and replace the last infestation. The best way to get rid of squirrels is to trap and kill them. Be careful of using poisons though - it is illegal to kill squirrels with poison in some circumstances.

Pest control firm gearing up for October spraying to fight West Nile

Lake Havasu City Pest Control is scheduled to spray chemical fog for possible West Nile virus-carrying mosquitoes from 9 p.m. through early morning, on Oct. 10 west of Highway 95 from Sterling Road to Ash Avenue, and from the Golden Shores area to the Calpine South Point Energy Center. "We're contracted through the county (Mohave) to spray for mosquitoes," said James E. Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man, Lake Havasu City Pest Control special project manager. "Last year was the first year we had a West Nile virus carrying mosquito here," he said.

Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said Hurricanes Rita and Katrina have slowed the process of getting out to spray. "Right now we're waiting for a shipment of product (insecticide for fogger) from Texas," he said. Although Lake Havasu City Pest Control fogged Sept. 13 in the Golden Shores and Topock area, this will be their first time fogging within the Bullhead City limits, Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said.

"(By having to fog here,) it's showing the migration of the mosquito has moved, within a year, (from Golden Shores and Topock areas) into the Bullhead City limits," Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said. Lake Havasu City Pest Control will use a Lake Havasu City Fogger to distribute the insecticide fog. Mounted in the back of a truck, the fogger will spray a cloud of fog 150 feet left and right out of the machine's steel nozzle that looks like a small green canon with a CD on top. Lake Havasu City pest control is an important part of the local economy, but only a few Arizona companies deal with wild animals.

The Lake Havasu City Fogger also has an auto-shut-off safety feature, Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said. The truck cruises at 10 mph as the fog is sprayed, and if the vehicle goes over or under that speed, the machine automatically stops spraying, Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said. "Stay indoors from 9 o'clock on ... get your pets indoors," he said. "We'll have a flashing light (and) you'll probably hear us coming (from the fogger's sound.) After we pass by, if you went to go out (of your home) 20 minutes later, it's perfectly fine," Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said.

Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said the chemical spray is safer than some people fear. "It's called 'ultra-low-volume spray,' and basically what it does, is it takes the product and puts it into real microscopic particles," he said. "(The fog's) half-life is probably a minute. Once it leaves our machine, it's going to dissipate real rapidly," Bullhead City and La Paz County Animal and Pest Control man said. Most local owners of pest control companies in Lake Havasu City, Arizona weren't sure what to make of all this.
