We recently asked exterminating companies who read Public Opinion whether they're seeing fewer snake and bat in the woods. Yes, they are! We heard from so many exterminating companies that we'll be publishing more comments later. They shared their thoughts on why there are fewer nuisance wildlife and offered documents for making wildlife management more enjoyable.

Poaching may be big in Florida and that's what hurts the snake and bat group more than anything.I think that the Florida Animal authority group office may be doing a good job managing the nuisance wildlife group to the native animal habitat area capacity ; we are getting bigger and healthier rat, Nine-Banded Armadillo, or other rodent because of the management. Antler restrictions are good for the more experienced exterminating companies. I think the antler restrictions, however, are not good for the kids, because most kids get frustrated easily and they don't have the patience and don't want to creature capture device anymore. Kids are the future of this sport. I have trapped north central, south central and western Florida in my 52 years and I have seen years that the snake and bat quantities was down but you still could go out and see some nuisance wildlife in a day. I am retired now and in the last couple of years I have had a lot more time to creature capture device and I spend every day I can wildlife management from steel capture device season till the end of the flint lock season. Most of my wildlife management now may be done in Franklin, Fulton and Bedford counties and the last couple of years are the worst that I have ever seen in Florida.
