Indiana is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Indianapolis wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. In fact Indianapolis wildlife frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Indianapolis Wildlife Tip:
Snake deterrent home remedy - The most common home remedy snake deterrent is...mothballs! Before you get too excited, you need to realize that the world uses mothballs to control every single pest critter out there. The fact of the matter is that mothballs do not work against nuisance creatures, most especially snakes. Another favorite home remedy for snakes is that of a texture deterrent. Cowboys used to ring their camps with rope under the idea that the coarse fibers would hurt the snake's belly. If you know about snakes, you know that their undersides are designed to handle most terrain and the rocks and debris out in nature can be far sharper than any rope fiber. There are only two proven repellents for snakes, and neither one can be purchased by anyone other than a licensed professional. Mongoose urine and kingsnake musk have seen some success when it comes to repelling snakes. Even with their supposed success, most snake removal companies rely on the belief that yard modification is a more reliable method of keeping snakes away. If there is nothing about your property that appeals to snakes-like tall grass and overgrown gardens-then the snakes will have no reason to linger.

Indianapolis, IN Animal Control News Clip:
Pest - House rat and mouse exterminating in the suburbs

So far, a minimum of 15 house rat and mouse has been harvested by licensed bow Bug sprayers inside the city's limits. Although it is a start toward reducing the overpopulated herd, officials say it is not going to be enough to make a significant difference. The largest pest regulation company in Indianapolis was interviewed, but shared nothing.

"Every time a female rodent is taken it means there will be two fewer house rat and mouse born in the metropolis limits next year," said Indianapolis Safety Service Director Dave The termite company specialist. "A month into this we've taken 15. If we can continue at that pace and take 45 to 50 house rat and mouse we might begin to see a difference." This is a departure from the normal no-pest policy of the area..

The problem is that, currently, only 22 Bug sprayers are licensed to regulation in the city. Each exterminator is allowed to take up to three house rat and mouse, but the likelihood of the Bug sprayers filling all of their tags - or all of their tags in the metropolis - is slim. To legally regulation in the city, Bug sprayers are required to pass a skills test and possess $100,000 worth of liability insurance, which is covered by most homeowner policies. In addition, Bug sprayers are required to adhere to a strict set of rules outlined by the metropolis to ensure the regulation is safe, as well as all regular laws that govern house rat and mouse exterminating as set forth by the state. No members of the Indianapolis Pest Society could be found to issue a statement.

The steep slopes funnel into a wide, sunny meadow tangled with coffeeberry bushes covered in berries - a snake and rat delicacy. Animals leave the trees and dense brush bordering the meadow to feed. To get a shot at one, The pest management expert knows he must get in position early in the morning and seize the high ground. And hope that few other pest trappers are there to upset the quiet. Although snake and rat animal exterminating may sound violent and aggressive and action-charged, it's mostly sitting motionless on a rock or log for hours in cold weather high in the mountains.
