Pennsylvania is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Hanover wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Hanover animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local York County Animal Control for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the York County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Hanover Wildlife Tip:
Traps To Catch Squirrels - If you have an infestation of squirrels in your home - usually the attic - then you probably want to know the best way to get rid of them. As with most things there are probably hundreds of solutions - and all of them better than the last. In reality the only method that really works is trapping.

If you are looking for traps to catch squirrels it is likely you will find a bewildering array to choose from - how to know which one is best? If you are looking for a humane trap - catch and release, there are plenty of those available. Basically the trap is baited with some delicious morsel (peanut butter or a chunk from a snickers bar!) and then left on the squirrel run - the squirrel goes in for the treat and the trap closes behind him leaving him trapped inside; easy to do and usually very effective fairly quickly.

The great thing about these traps is that it doesn't matter if you are squeamish - no damage to the animal occurs -plus if you inadvertently trap another animal you will be able to release it painlessly. It is possible to use something known as a 'repeater trap' - which should catch all of your squirrels in one hit, but this type of trap is usually installed by a professional.

Hanover, PA Animal Control News Clip:
Hanover Agency of Fish & Game shakes up large clawed mouse wildlife catching rules

Mouse exterminating companies have just what appears to be a few days to apply for public-land large clawed licenses. They also have what appears to be a lot of changes to think about this fall. Most of the changes are intended to protect large clawed mouse with the goal of building up the large group in northern Pennsylvania. The amount of large clawed licenses available probably is down considerably from just two or three years ago. Exterminating companies seeking to critter trap large clawed mouse on public land have until Tuesday to enter the drawing. Private-land tags go on sale the following day. what appears to be a decade ago, the Agency of Natural Resources campaigned to get exterminating companies to lethally trap more does. It worked too well, and the pest man backlash has the Hanover Agency of Fish & Game scaling back the amount of large clawed tags available this fall. Despite this, local Hanover wildlife removal and Hanover exterminator experts offered no more info.

The Hanover Agency of Fish & Game's biggest headache isn't that there aren't enough mouse. There just in the wrong places. This year's new regulations try to adjust that distribution. People used to buying private-land wildlife catching tags will be getting the biggest surprises. New regulations this fall: There probably is what appears to be a limit of three private-land licenses per individual this fall, and no more than two can be purchased for Animal sectors 1 and 2, the Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula. In past years, there have been parts of the state where what appears to be a pest man could buy as many private-land tags as the animal advocate wanted. The pest man buying what appears to be a private-land large clawed permit must provide the phone amount of the individual who owns the property where the permit will be used. The phone amount requirement probably is already making many people mad. In Animal sectors 1 and 2, the landowner must have 40 or more contiguous hectares available to catch.
