Tennessee is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Smyrna wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Smyrna animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Rutherford County Animal Control for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Rutherford County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Smyrna Wildlife Tip:
What does snake feces look like?

There may be times when you think that a snake may be in your yard, but you are really not sure. You wish that there was something that could give you a clear indicator so you could know for sure whether it was there or not. The truth is that there is.

The fact remains that snakes, like every other animal, are prone to leave droppings when they travel around your yard. This feces can be quite distinctive looking, letting you know that there is clearly a snake around.

While that is great evidence for you, that does not mean that it will do anything for you. Unless you know what the feces looks like then you have no chance of really being able to know that you have a snake. Thus, knowing what the feces looks like is quite important. If you want to know what snake feces looks like, here is some information you need to know.

Snake poop looks a great deal like bird poop, which is part of the problem. Because it looks similar in so many ways, this can make it easily mistaken for a bird when you actually have a snake on your property.

Why they look so similar is because snakes and birds are one of the very few animals that have feces that is both solid and liquid at the same time. This is because there is a mixture of urine and fecal matter than makes up the poop, which gives it its look. What this at least does for you is let you know that you have one of these kinds of animals that is relieving itself on your property.

However, there are differences between the two. First off, snake poop does not look like it splattered. Birds normally drop their poop from distances that are five feet or more above the ground. This means that when the poop hits the ground it will splatter. Snake poop does not do that at all, meaning that there is a way to distinguish between the two.

Another way to tell the difference is in sure volume. Snakes will only relieve themselves after they have eaten. This can mean that a snake will go weeks before it goes to the bathroom again. On the contrary, birds relieve themselves on a regular basis. You can see dozens of spots where a bird relieved itself on your property, but you are likely to only find one or two spots where a snake did so.

The part you may hate about this is that it requires you to do a little searching. If you think that there is a snake on your land, then you are going to have to take a look around your yard to see if you find any snake poop.

This will hopefully give you some idea of what to look for so that you can tell if a snake is around. Do a little searching and you will know for sure if you have an issue with this reptile.
