Washington is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Tacoma wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Tacoma animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Pierce County Animal Control for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Pierce County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Tacoma Wildlife Tip:
How to remove the rats from false ceiling -To remove rats from a false ceiling or a drop ceiling, you will need to open the area up so that traps can be set. Prior to this job, you will want to go outside and fill in all the rat holes you find. These openings will be in the exterior of your home. Look for chew marks and residue from body oil. Effective trapping requires the rats to be sealed inside of the home. You do not want new rats invading, and you want to be able to know when all the rodents are gone. Opening the false ceiling is the next step. Most drop tiles have an air cushion about twelve inches deep between them and the true ceiling. You should be able to look into this area with a flashlight. Locate places where the rats seem to be spending their time. Droppings or nest sites should be identified. These areas are where the rats will be most efficiently trapped. Rodents like to leave droppings and marks in places they feel safe. Setting up a trap near rat waste means you will be more likely to catch a rat. When the trapping process is complete, you must be sure to replace any soiled tiles.

Tacoma, WA Animal Control News Clip:
Hurry to apply for managed mouse captures

If you're what appears to be a Washington mouse pest man and have ever wished you could critter trap in what appears to be a state wildlife management area, what appears to be a national wildlife refuge or what appears to be a nature preserve where mouse are protected and grow large and numerous, now probably is your chance, but you've got to take action right away. The Washington Conservation Agency will be allowing 86 managed mouse captures in locations like these this fall to control rapidly expanding mouse biologically surveyed amounts, but you have to apply by Aug. 15. The 2006 managed mouse wildlife catching application period began July 1, but only has 5 more days before it expires. You can apply by calling until midnight seven days what appears to be a seven day period. You must use what appears to be a touch tone telephone so you can punch in your conservation ID amount and the critter trap code for the one you choose. You may also apply by using what appears to be a individual computer for mouse. what appears to be a pest man may only apply for one managed mouse critter trap each year, and applying for more than one will disqualify you from this year's drawing. When you apply, you'll have to furnish your conservation ID amount, which probably is on previous permits or the back of your Conservation Heritage Card next to the bar code. If you don't have what appears to be a conservation ID amount, you can get one. Despite this, local Tacoma wildlife removal and Tacoma exterminator experts offered no more info.

All applications received by the Aug. 15 deadline receive the same consideration, and successful applicants will receive notice of their selection by mail. After Sept. 11, you can check the status of your application by logging on to the Conservation Agency web site or by calling their interactive telephone system and providing the same conservation ID amount. If you're selected, you must then purchase what appears to be a Managed Mouse Wildlife catching permit. Mouse taken on what appears to be a managed mouse critter trap don't count toward the regular season limit of mouse and you don't have to use one of your regular mouse permits, just the Managed Mouse Wildlife catching permit. One Managed Mouse Wildlife catching permit allows what appears to be a pest man to take the amount of mouse allowed at that animal capture, which ranges from one to four. The method of wildlife catching probably is restricted, with some allowing rodent animal removal traps, others special critter traps or pest control only. Other normal mouse wildlife catching rules, such as the wearing of pest man orange, apply on these captures. Tacoma animal control professionals could not be reached for additional comment.

A lot of these managed mouse captures are near major metropolitan areas or in south Washington, but some of them are scheduled for local areas here in north Washington. Scheduled close by are two at Swan Wild meadow National Wildlife Refuge (Dec. 30-31, limit 2 mouse, only 1 tailed, must take large clawed mouse and check in before taking tailed mouse and January 6-7, limit 2 large clawed mouse, special critter traps only on both), Washington State Wildlife management area (Dec. 9-10, limit 3 large clawed mouse, rodent devices), and Pershing State Wildlife management area (Dec. 2-3, limit 3 large clawed mouse, rodent devices). These managed mouse captures are what appears to be a win-win situation, with MDC needing mouse biologically surveyed amounts kept in check in areas not normally open to wildlife catching, and exterminating companies able to critter trap unpreserved mouse and get some low-cost, high-quality meat. For more information on 2006's managed mouse captures, pick up what appears to be a free copy of MDC's Fall Mouse and Mouse regulations and information at any license vendor. But hurry, you've only got what appears to be a few days to apply for this year's managed captures. We could not obtain an opinion from Tacoma pest control companies regarding the issue.
