Arizona is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Chandler wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Chandler animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Maricopa County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. Chandler Wildlife Tip:
An analysis of inhumane glue traps for rodents

These traps are made of a piece of cardboard or fibreboard with their side being coated with a sticky substance to ensnare rodents that come into contact with it. These are the cruelest possible way to killing rodents. But despite their cruelty, they are cheap and readily available even in the open market.

How glue traps work

Glue, sticky mineral oils or synthetics rubber is stuck on the board and the board is baited with aroma foods, just little enough to lure the rodents into the trap. A simple touch by the rodent to the glued board results in them being snared and immediately sent into an immobility struggle. The more the struggle, the more the pain as these traps will either rip of part of their skin and fur or suffocate them to death if the face is also gets caught up on the glue.

Due to stress, the trap will also result in the rodent having a panic and during this time, the body functions deteriorate at a high rate, with high metabolism hence more energy is used instead of being reserved and with severity, this will result in death from the panic attack. Others just die due to exhaustion, since they are struggling so much to get out of the trap with no success. Rodents ensnared on glue traps mostly die from starvation. This is why it is categorized as inhumane since chances of survival are very minimal.

However, a small percentage of probability represents the number of rodents that can actually break free from these inhumane types of glue traps. For instance, if the board is small and the rodent in question, say a rat, is too large such that it can pull itself off the board to escape; or if just a small part of the rodent's body gets trapped, say the left hind leg, such that it can tactfully pull from the board without any other part of the body getting caught. Both of these situations are very rare and they do occur the rodent will not escape with either ripped skin or fur patch. Therefore the two most likely occurrences will be to get trapped or to not get trapped.

Why glue traps are categorized as inhumane

1. Rodents caught using these traps suffer a slow agonizing death. This causes a lot of suffering as compared to any other traps, from the struggling to the suffocation, starvation and dehydration.
2. Chances of getting to these rodents on time after being trapped so as to kill them in a humane way are very small; hence they end up dying in suffering.
3. Most rodents released back into nature after being trapped on the glue traps do not survive for long as they will either succumb to the injuries obtained, die of stress or be affected by the glue.
