Florida is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Pasco County wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Pasco County animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Pasco County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Pasco County Wildlife Tip:
How to stop mice from getting in my attic -To stop mice from getting in the attic, attention to the outside of the home is required. All nuisance animals enter a home through a breach in the exterior. There is no other way for them to get inside. This breach can be through a damaged part of the home, through a unleveled door jam, or through a vent in the attic. Your first mission as a responsible homeowner is to find the openings in your home and close them. Cap any chimneys and grate off any drains or vents. This is the only way to stop mice from getting inside. There are no repellents on the market that are reliable. If there were, cities would have stock in peppermint oil, mothballs, or citrus spray. The fact is that mice don't care one way or another about smells. There are no chemicals that can be put around the home to keep the rodents at bay. If mice are inside of your attic, seal up the holes as mentioned. The next step will be trapping and removal. Trapping of mice is easy when it is done correctly. Effective trapping means putting the snap traps in areas where the mice travel. You will be able to determine these routes by evidence of urine or droppings.

Pasco County, FL Animal Control News Clip:
Pests - Florida growers fear citrus threat due to insects

"Places have tried," said Wayne Dixon, the state's chief of entomology, nematology and plant pathology. "But they pretty quickly realize it doesn't work." The Lee County Pest Control board could not be reached for comment.

So far, inspectors have found 85 infected trees across 33 square miles in Miami-Dade and Lee counties. The Extermination Professional found the first two, about 18 miles apart, in late August. Most local owners of pest control companies in Pasco County, Florida weren't sure what to make of all this.

Scientists concluded two weeks later that the behavior of pest animals and insects was "well-established" in south Miami-Dade County. They said a rapid response was needed to combat it, but there was none ready to roll out. There are many types of insects and animals in Pasco County, and other Florida cities, but not all of them are pests after all.

The minutes of a Sept. 8 briefing on the behavior of pest animals and insects mention an "action plan" but describe it as just a rough draft with "many errors that need to be corrected."
