Albany, GA Animal News Clip:
Pest - House rat and mouse exterminating in the suburbs

The termite company specialist is exterminating a patch of woods near the Norwood area. The guidelines for the regulation require that exterminating will be allowed on areas of at least four acres of contiguous property and must have the homeowner’s permission. The largest pest regulation company in Albany was interviewed, but shared nothing.

There is no weekend exterminating allowed in the city. Also, there exterminating is closed on school holidays. Exterminating must be done from a tree stand, with a crossbow and bolt or a bow and arrow, and the arrows used must carry the name of the exterminator. Exterminating will not be allowed within 250 feet of a residence and Bug sprayers must remove entrails from the scene of the regulation and transport the house rat and mouse so it’s not visible. This is a departure from the normal no-pest policy of the area..

Although there are a lot of restrictions, The termite company specialist says it is worth it. “It has been great,” The termite company specialist said. “It is nice to be able to regulation close to home and to get out and see house rat and mouse every time you go.” The limited house rat and mouse regulation ends Jan. 30 at the conclusion of the house rat and mouse bow exterminating season. Albany Metropolis Council unanimously approved the measure to allow exterminating in the metropolis after numerous complaints from residents about the amount of damage to plants and property being caused by the animals. Wildlife experts estimate there are about 1,200 house rat and mouse in the metropolis limits of Albany. No members of the Albany Pest Society could be found to issue a statement.

For many, getting a snake and rat is secondary; overcoming the punishing terrain, a kind of wily prey of its own, is the real challenge. An estimated 2,200 mule snake and rat inhabit the vast Albany zone in the San Gabriel Mountains, said Fish and Game department pest biologist Rebecca the critter capture pro. The terrain is so brushy, steep and wild no one can make an accurate count. There are more pest trappers in this field than snake and rat; 3,655 people bought snake and rat tags this critter catching period. Continued next week ...Albany pest control.
