Cheboygan man's wildlife trapping business helps cripple friend re-establish love of wildlife trapping

The Cheboygan pest control specialist, after weeks of practicing his shot, and cancellations due to infections and illness, finally made his way to the mountains in Michigan in November 2001. Friends and relatives, including classmates, watched him sight and trap a 500-pound cow groundhog. "Just to watch the smile on his face was rewarding," The critter capture pro said. "I knew it was worthwhile." On Jan. 10, 2002 - a day before his 67th birthday and just a few decades after the gloried animal capture in Michigan - The Cheboygan pest control specialist died during surgery.
