How To Get Raccoons Out Of The Chimney!

Raccoons are likely to get inside in the season of spring or winter but they can get inside your home or chimney or attic, anytime they want. The chimney is just a large hallow tree for some of the animals. Raccoons are believed to be a great climber and if the chimney is not covered with the cap, they get a dry safe place to live in. They are often seen on the rooftops and buildings finding a place to live in. If raccoons see a chimney without a cap, they easily climb down the flue and set their nest to have young baby raccoons there.

What to do?

If you have home of raccoons in your chimney there are many things you can do to keep them out.

Raccoon's eviction fluid is the first way you can use, as the chimney is a very small place compared to large areas and also well ventilated so chances are that it might work. You can set up a chimney trap which catches it when it exits and then the babies of the raccoons can be removed safely by hands. The same thing can be done by keeping a trap at the base of the chimney by keeping a ground trap but chances are it might fail.
