Raccoons are fleet of foot.

Customer Raccoon Email: Hi David - I live far away in Canada but read your on-line article with interest. I've had a raccoon invasion and am in the process of sealing my attic with metal cloth and staring the cleanup of the attic. I had left the raccoons alone while the young were raised but am now in full cleanup before they move back for the winter. They have left quite a mess and have destroyed a good portion of the attic insulation. Have been searching on-line for the enzyme based cleaner/disinfectant you mention for use with your fogger. Can you provide a trade name for the product? Or is this something proprietary you brew up on your own? Any help or suggestions you can recommend would be greatly appreciated. Best regards - Mark

My Answer: Several cleaners are good, but recently I've been using a product called Bac-Azap.

The raccoon (Procyon lotor), is a common urban animal, and native to North America. Raccoons are easy to recognize, with a black mask and ringed tail, as seen in the above photo. Raccoons tend to weigh between 10-20 pounds as adults, and live an average of 5 years. They are mostly nocturnal, and are omnivores, and will often eat pet food or garbage. They have become very acclimated to living in cities and urban areas. They are very strong, excellent climbers, very intelligent, and they are very skilled with their hands, which causes them to commonly break into homes and attics, where they cause considerable damage, and they also destroy other property, and thus raccoons are considered pest animals by many people, which is why I remove them.
