For some people, their garden is like their child. They do all that they can to make sure that it is as incredible and healthy as they can possibly make it.
This is quite understandable. Not only is a garden an area where one can prove how Green their thumb is, but it also gives them sources of fresh fruits and vegetables. The vast majority of people grow such things as carrots, corn, watermelon, tomatoes, and other vegetation that gives them healthy food that they can count on it not having preservatives or poisons to it. They are the ones that took care of it after all.
However, you are not the only one who would find your garden to be a fantastic place to get a healthy meal from. There are a large number of wild animals they would also see it is the ideal location to get food from, despite the fact of you taking precautions to keep them away. This may make you wonder what kinds of animals will destroy your garden?
You have to start with the animals that are most noted for eating fruits and vegetables. One that comes to mind right away is the rabbit. This animal loves to eat such things as lettuce and carrots, so if it has access into your garden it will most assuredly be tearing it apart.
It does not end there however. Moles and gophers will also dig their way into your garden so they can get at your food. Not only do they eat the fruits and vegetables you have created, but they will dig holes in the garden area as well. This can create quite the mess for you.
You also have to worry about such critters as raccoons, possums, skunks, rats, and other little critters that will work to try to gain access into your garden. These animals will not only create havoc in the garden, but can do a real number on your yard overall, as they tear out the ground underneath fences, and even try to destroy your fence to gain access.
It is not just ground animals that you have to worry about. Birds are one of the biggest culprits in terms of destroying a good garden. It starts with the fact that they love corn, and will tear apart the cornstalks that you have created to try to get it these little riblets. They will also come closer to the ground, to eat such things as watermelon, cantaloupe, lettuce, cabbage, and other tasty fruits and vegetables that you may be growing within your garden.
The problem that occurs with birds is that they are much harder to keep out of your garden than other animals because of their ability to fly. You will also find that they will commonly go after fruit trees that you may have in your yard, eating such things as cherries, pears, and apples. This makes them one of the leading nemesis in terms of trying to keep the things you are growing safe.
