Animals In Attics: More than half of the nuisance wildlife cases that I deal with on a daily basis involve critters in the attic - this includes squirrels, rats, raccoons, and more. Many critters
love to live in attics, which provide a dry, safe habitat, particularly for female animals who need a safe place to raise their young. I remove all animals from attics, including any nesting babies,
and I identify and close off any and all points of entry in your house that allowed the critters to get inside in the first place. My results are permanent. Humane Wildlife Trapping: I take great care to always trap animals in live cage traps and humanely relocate them far outside populated areas in approved wildlife habitat. I am an expert trapper, and my years of experience go a long way in ensuring safe and effective critter trapping. Trapping is illegal for non-licensed persons in the state of Florida, and it's not as simple as it may seem. Damage Repairs: Whether it's squirrels that have chewed the wiring in your attic, rats that have pooped all over the place, raccoons that have torn a hole in the roof, or opossums that have ripped apart the ductwork, I fix the damage that animals have caused, and I seal off all open points of entry, with steel, so that no more animals are able to get back inside your house again. Fort Lauderdale Raccoon Control: The raccoon is a very common nuisance animal here in Southeast Florida. They break into homes and attics, poop in swimming pools, knock over garbage cans, threaten pets, and more. They are cute animals, but they are often very destructive and are rabies carriers, so I remove them from homes and properties when necessary. Fort Lauderdale Squirrel Control: We get lots of squirrels living inside soffits and attics of homes, particularly in September and March, when mother squirrels raise their nest of young inside attics. Squirrels are big chewers, so you don't want them living in your attic, chewing on wires and creating a fire hazard. Fort Lauderdale Rat Control: Rat are everywhere - the common Black Rat, or Roof Rat, is the one to worry about here in Florida. They are serious disease vectors, and can multiply quickly and infest and contaminate homes and buildings. If you hear running or scurrying in your attic or walls, especially at night, you've probably got rats in the house. Fort Lauderdale Rodent Control: Rodents such as rats, mice, and squirrels are commonly dealt with nuisance critters here in Florida. I never use poison to solve rodent problems - poison is a horrible idea! I trap and remove rodents, and most importantly, seal them out of buildings permanently. Fort Lauderdale Bat Control: Bats love to live in buildings, especially buildings with Spanish tile roofs! The most common bat down here is the Mexican Freetail bat, and sometimes colonies of Evening Bats will also infest buildings. These groups of bats, known as maternity colonies, will never leave a building once established, will grown in population with time, and will leave a big mess with their urine and guano droppings. If you want to protect your building and the health of those inside, have me remove the colony of bats. I am a true expert, with a 100% success rate, and I never harm the normally beneficial bats during the removal process. My results are permanent, as I "bat-proof" the entire building. Fort Lauderdale Bird Control: Pigeons love to roost in bad areas, such as store signs, beams, ledges, and even in attics. They make a big mess with their nesting material and droppings, which are also a heath hazard. I install bird exclusion devices, from shock track to spikes, to netting, that will keep the birds from roosting on your property, and keep the place clean and sanitary. Fort Lauderdale Opossum Control: Posssums commonly live in attics and under homes. They make a huge mess with their waste, and when one dies inside or under the house, which happens frequently, it creates an unbearable stench! Opossums are common scavangers, and often steal pet food or live under decks or sheds. I trap and relocate possums far away from the capture site. Fort Lauderdale Armadillo Control: Armadillos are expert diggers, so if you've got a whole lot of little digging in your yard, or perhaps a big hole with a giant pile of dirt next to your house, that's the work of the dillo. I am excellent at trapping dillos. Fort Lauderdale Snake Control: South Florida is home to all sorts of snakes. Some of them are venomous, though most are actually harmless. However, if you don't know how to identify snakes, best to leave it alone. I can safely remove snakes from any part of home or property, from pools, yards, inside houses, and so on. I can also perform snake prevention services. Dead Animal Removal: If a wild animal dies somewhere in the attic, walls, or under a house, get ready for a terrific smell! I am highly skilled at sniffing out and removing decaying carcasses from inside homes and anywhere on the property. I deodorize the area after removal. Iguana Removal and Control: Iguanas are a big problem here in southern FL, and I am a pioneer in the control, trapping, and removal of these pesky lizards. I'm a renter and I have raccoons in my attic. I know for sure 2, but I believe there are more. My landlord just had a company put up 2 live traps today, as well as close the opening that they made. They are going crazy up there now, and I have 2 little children that I'm really worried about. My friend was scratched by a raccoon that entered her house through the ac vent, and I'm terrified these will come in somehow. I know raccoons can be smart and strong, and they are banging around. I'm also concerned about the diseases. We have urine dripping (yes, dripping) in between our 2 back doors. My husband cleaned with the solution the Human Society told us to use, and it was better. This morning the smell had returned (after only 2 or 3 days), and so had the gnat's. Disgusting! I saw your website online and read a few things that concerned me. What is your opinion about the diseases? Or any of it? Also, is it common for the Home owner's assoc. to pay for the clean up? My landlord doesn't want to clean it because the company she's going through said, "Most people just allow it to dry up and have no problems." Well great for them, I'm not most people. I'm a mother or a 3 and 4 year old. Please let me know what you think? I've asked the Human Society and (as far as the diseases) they said unless my kids eat the feces then I shouldn't be too concerned. What about the urine though? Human Society didn't believe that it was urine, but it defiantly is.
Hi Wildlife Pros Inc. and thank you for your web info. I live an hour north of Miami, FL. Weather is getting colder, leaves have fallen and you can now see the vacated,( I think) squirrel nests. My place is more like a cottage and I do back onto a river. My problem to date is the noises I am hearing in the attic over my bedroom. They have been going on for 2 to 3 months. My bedroom was originally a garage, no basement below it. The opening to the attic is in one of the other bedrooms and I have caught a few mice, but I think that it’s more than mice over my bedroom, unless they are wearing work boots, because it is quite noisy. The noise usually is later at night and early morning, sometimes 4 or 5 am. Scratching, movement and when I first started tapping the ceiling, IT would stop briefly, but now it doesn’t seem to bother It. IT just moves around and keeps doing what IT’S doing. I wish it was mice as I know eventually that the traps would eliminate them, yet it only sound like One animal. There was holes/entry points when I first moved in, but when I had the attic sprayed for a mold problem, the technicians filled in as many of the gaps with spray foam as they could. These noise/activities seem to be just above my bedroom attic, which does have a small opening access into it from the rest of the attic. I have looked around the house for visible entry ways, but have not noticed anything substancial.Could it be, chipmunks, mice or???? Make such a loud noise? Any of your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you…. Ivars
Sometimes mice sound loud. Aren't there any tracks for feces to give a clue?
I hope that you are right, because I can live with mice as I try to trap them slowly as they go for the peanut butter. The attic area above my bedroom, for me is not too easy to get into, I am not quite comfortable up there. This mornings noise started at 4am, scratching noises, quite loud, but after I hit the ceiling and walls a few times, IT finally stopped and back to sleep I went.Although we had a light dusting of snow this morning, when I went outside the local squirrels were active in the trees and on the ground, so I am really hoping that it is mice.
