If you just have opossums outside, or under a shed or deck, and you need them trapped in cages and taken away, the cost may be $150 on up, depending on how many need to be trapped.
This job will require at least two service trips (trap setup and animal removal), plus relocation or euthanization.
If you have opossums in your attic, the total cost will probably run between $250 - $500 to remove all the opossums and seal the entry holes shut. This
cost will vary a great deal, depending on how many repairs are needed, how many opossums are in the attic, if you need cleanup, etc.
I must reiterate that
this is a directory of professional nuisance wildlife companies
who have met my quality guidelines, and
every company charges different rates.

Costs do vary by company. But there are 3 main principles:
1) Opossum control is highly specialized work, with unique licensing and liability risks.
2) You usually do get what you pay for, and cheap companies tend to do bad work.
3) There is no one-price-fits-all. It doesn't work that way, every opossum job is different.
Any reputable nuisance wildlife company will have spent money on licensing, liability insurance, and a host of other business expenses.
You don't want to over-pay of course. And most of all, you want someone who will do this complex work correctly. If you do it wrong the
first time, you'll just end up paying more later. You can't ignore wildlife problems, because of the damage and health risks that opossums cause.
Invest in your home and property by taking care of the opossum problem correctly.
Customer Email Regarding Opossum Problem: Hi David, I am in Ft. Worth Texas and have a question. Last night my German Shepherd ran out back door and grabbed a possum
off tree trying to escape and slammed to the ground. I ran out and grabbed her, the possum had its mouth open playing dead. I pulled dog back (she had no injury) possum tried to
go up tree to escape and fell back to ground. Later went out and no possum no blood. Also I have tons of new tunnels all over property smaller than the ones this possum made in my
back yard last night. Question is do I have a colony of them and is it possible my dog got any nasty bugs from having this in her mouth. She is up on all shots. Also how much does
it cost for possum removal services? Great and informative site by the way...Thanks Kay
My Response: Opossums don't live in colonies. They are largely solitary nomads, wandering through. No disease from opossums to dogs. For a removal price in Fort Worth, call the guy on my directory and he can give
you a price for possum control.
